Welcome to B-Rhymes

This is the inaugural post on the B-Rhymes news blog that’s going to keep you up to date on the latest developments and improvements happening with B-Rhymes.

If you haven’t already, take it for a spin. Look up a word like ‘metropolis’ to see it at it’s best. Right now, in this early iteration, it works best for words with at least 2 syllables. For a quick overview about what it’s doing, check out the about page.

This is a bit of a work in progress, so I would love, love, love feedback. Just leave me a comment at the end of this post letting me know what you think.

Would just like to say that
I love this site! Found it yesterday after
    much browsing – Google,
Maybe you could come better up the list if
you write near rhyme, false rhyme etc on page or in search criteria. You deserve it
    Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the comment. Yea, I definitely need to work on getting page rank. If that’s what you searched for I should definitely sprinkle a little ‘near rhyme’ and ‘false rhyme’ around the site.

Tried this out for myself, then bookmarked it. I write poems from time to time; no not poems – rhymes. OK jingles. Anyway, I think this is going to be very useful.

    Thanks, Mike.

Wow, this is amazing! I just posted about it on MeFi, hopefully it’ll stick: http://www.metafilter.com/89217/BRhymes

Thanks for the bump Archagon! You’ve tripled my delicious count already!

Probably worth $5 for me to post on there to say things like ‘Sorry for the bad ones. I’ve get ideas for improving the algorithm, as soon as I get this iPhone app out.’..

What is B-Rhymes?

B-Rhymes is a rhyming dictionary that's not stuck up about what does and doesn't rhyme. As well as regular rhymes, it gives you words that sound good together even though they don't technically rhyme.
